1. Lift an airtight load

2. Switch off the vacuum generator.

The lifting unit must lower itself slowly.

Only when the load is close to the ground must it detach from the suction cup.
If the load falls suddenly, contact Schmalz Service.
9.5 Vacuum blower

9.6 Cleaning the Tube Lifter
Tube lifters Jumbo must only be cleaned with an agent containing active tensides (pH-neutral).
NOTE
Aggressive cleaning agents
Damage to the suction plates and vacuum hoses!

For cleaning, do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as cold cleaners, carbon tetra-
chloride, hydrocarbons or vinegar-based cleaning products.

Do not use sharp-edged objects (wire brushes, sandpaper, etc.).
Remote control option:
•
Clean the pushbutton and the surrounding area at least once a month using a slightly damp cloth
and a cleaner containing active tensides (pH-neutral). Ensure that no moisture enters the electronics.
9.7 Dust Filter in the Vacuum Pump
See the vacuum pump operating instructions in the appendix.
9.8 Checking the Level of Wear on the Rotary Union
As part of the regular maintenance of the tube lifter, check the wear of the rotary union every month.
Measure with caliper, measuring tape or yardstick.
