Assemble the gasket and frame cover in position by means of locating pins if any and fasteners (item
21 and item 22).

20.

Locate the position indicator assembly and install it in position of top of the frame in the same axis as
that of the scotch yoke.

21.

Ensure that the position indicator is correctly located into the shaft.

22.

Reassembly of the acting actuator is now complete.

Adjustment after assembly:

Check the following when assembly is completed. If satisfactory result is not obtained, disassemble the
actuator again, find the cause, and assemble it back together.

1.Check valve opening and closing positions

2.Performance Check and Adjustment

•

Check that the actuator operates smoothly when specified air pressure is applied to it.

•

Check for leakages through the cylinder and frame seals.
