IV. Intended use
Depending on the tool being used, the device described are suitable exclusively for:
- Spade (1): Digging, removing roots.
- Pointed chisel (2): Demolition works.
- Flat chisel (3): Demolition works; removing tiles; removing plaster.
- Wide chisel (4): Demolition works; removing tiles; removing plaster.
- Scraper (5): Removing old carpets, adhesive residue, concrete residues, PVC floors,
linoleum floors
Any other use is not in compliance with the proper intended use and as such is forbid-
den. Alterations, use of third-party tools or tampering with or altering controls or actu-
ators is likewise forbidden. Use in potentially explosive areas is forbidden. Working in
or under water is not permitted.

a) The user must evaluate the specific risks associated with each application of the
device.

ry parts or carrying out any work in the vicinity of the device. Failure to read and
follow the instructions may lead to serious injury.
c) Only qualified, trained operators are authorised to install, adjust or use the de-
vice.
d) The
device must not be modified. Any modifications implemented may reduce
the efficiency of the safety measures and increase risks for the operator.
e) Never use devices that have been damaged. Look after your device carefully.
Regularly check that all moving parts are functioning correctly without jamming.
Also regularly ensure that no parts are broken or damaged to an extent that they
affect the operation of the device. Check that all signs and labels are legible and
intelligible. Have damaged parts repaired or replaced before using the device.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained devices.
