External Temperature
Sensor
Check the box to enable the remote sensor functionality on the Savant Universal
Remote (SUR-0500) and/or TrueControl II App. The Savant App does not display the
outside temperature.
Controller
This field is initially populated with the
unique name
given to the thermostat when
created in Blueprint. All thermostats that were added to the configuration are
populated in this drop-down menu. This gives a user the ability to associate a
Location
with a thermostat when there are multiple thermostats in a configuration.
Auto
The
Auto
column should be checked if the thermostat will be controlling both heating
and cooling. Checking
Auto
populates the Savant App and SUR-0500 with both
heating and cooling functionality.
Note:
Checking
Auto
automatically populates the
Heat
and
Cool
columns with a check
as well. The
Auto
column does not a
ff
ect TrueControl or TrueControl II.

Map the Thermostat Data to a zone/room
The
Savant App Zone Map
button located on the HVAC data table (
Tools > Settings > HVAC
), opens the
(
Savant App
/
Location
) drop-down dialog shown below.
The dialog maps the data (temperature/humidity) output from the thermostat (
Basement, First Floor, Second
Floor_1
) to a zone/room (
Basement, First Floor, Second Floor_1
) in the Savant App or TrueControl II user
interfaces.
In the example above, the following is true:
• The temperature collected from the basement thermostat is displayed in the
Basement
zone/room of the
user interface (Savant App/TrueControl).
• The temperature collected from the first floor thermostat is displayed in the
First Floor
zone/room of the
user interface (Savant App/TrueControl).
• The temperature collected from the second floor thermostat is displayed in the
Second Floor_1
zone/room
of the user interface (Savant App/TrueControl).
