Intended use
OFL router lifts shall exclusively be ope-
rated in conjunction with an individual, or
third-party, CE-compliant router table or
the Trend CRT/MK3 or sauter FT router
tables described here.
The router lift is suitable to mount de-
fi ned, mains-operated routers with an
output of up to 3,000 W. For this purpose,
note the “Permissible routers and router
motors” section. In this process, the lift
must be permanently connected to the
router table.
OFL2.0-AD43 is exclusively intended to
accommodate defi ned router motors. Do
not use it with drills.
The separate ADAP43-OFL adapter must
explicitly be used in conjunction with
sauter OFL1.0 and OFL2.0.
On general functionality: the router lift
enables height adjustment/adjusting the
milling depth from the top side of the
table. As a rule, a suitable router table
enables the stationary use of commer-
cially available, hand-held routers and
router motors (then with vertical spindle),
similar to a spindle molder.
Additional components are required to
complete the router table, such as stops,
guide rails and safety components. These
form part of the delivery scope of the
router table or must be purchased sepa-
rately.
Users shall be liable for damage and
accidents in the event of improper use
or using enclosed components or com-
ponents that have not been confi rmed in
writing.
Foreseeable misuse
The router must not be operated by hand
in conjunction with an OFL router lift,
it must have been installed horizontally
and screw connections must have been
securely fastened.
Do not use any other routers in OFL
router lifts than those permitted. Do not
use drills.
When using routers a base plate must be
provided that surrounds the router bit in
its plane to prevent unintentional cont-
act with the bit during intended use and
guarantee secure installation on the OFL
router lift.
When using router motors a 43 mm Euro-
pean standard collar must be available for
clamping to guarantee secure installation
on OFL1.0 or OFL2.0 during its intended
use. Do not deviate signifi cantly from the
recommended torque of 13 Nm to attach
the ADAP43-OFL.
The components listed herein are de-
signed to mill wood, plastic and similar
materials only. Processing metals and
steel is not permitted.
It is absolutely necessary to install pro-
tective equipment to guarantee adequate
protection against unintentionally coming
into contact with active parts.
It is also necessary to comply with all
safety notices and operating conditions
of the corresponding router as per the
operating instructions.
