Weigh Averaging
Purpose
Use this application program to deter-
mine weights of moving samples (such
as animals) or weights under unstable
ambient conditions. In this application,
the scale calculates the average from a
defined number of individual weight
measurements called “subweighing
operations.”
Features
– The measured result displayed is the
arithmetic mean shown in the pre-
selected weight unit; a triangle indicates
that this is a calculated value.
– You can adjust the selector to the
number of subweighing operations
before starting weigh averaging using
the [OK] key.
– The number of subweighing operations
remaining to be performed is displayed
during a measurement.
– To display the number of subweighing
operations for averaging, press the [OK]
key for more than 2 sec.
– Press the [UNIT] key to toggle between
the calculated result and the weight
readout.
– The results are automatically output via
the interface port if you have selected
the printout option with data ID codes
in the menu.
Function Keys
[OK] key:
– Saves the number of subweighing
operations you selected for averaging
and starting weigh averaging.
– If you press the [OK] key again,
averaging will be reinitialized.
[DELETE] key:
– Cancels initialization.
Selector
– Turn this selector to set the number
of subweighing operations.
– Each time you change the selector set-
ting, the new number of subweighing
operations will be briefly displayed.
