6-7. MECHANISM CONTROL
Mechanism control includes cassette tape loading and
unloading control, tape travel speed control by means of the
capstan motor, ON/OFF control, direction control and drum
motor ON/OFF control.
Precise rotation control for the capstan motor and drum
motor is carried out by the independent servo control
program in the main controller.
Details of this are described in the following chapter.
During operation of the mechanism, the various sensors are
checked , and if an abnormality is detected, a standby
operation is carried out.

6-7-1 . Tape Loading Control
The drive circuit of the loading motor is shown below.
ON/OFF operations and the direction of rotation are
controlled by the LOAD and UN LOAD signals.
Power is supplied from the constant voltage supply (5 V)
from the voltage regulator circuits (IC392 and 03901 ).
