1. Park your machine on a hard, level ground.
2. Within 15 minutes since the engine is shut
off, turn the start switch to ON position and
cycle the work equipment control lever and
the travel control lever in all directions in
order to release the internal pressure.
3. Lock/tag it out before proceeding. See
“Lock-out tag-out” on page 2-60.
4. Slowly loosen the oil filler cap on top of
the hydraulic tank in order to release the
internal pressure.
5.8.2.12 Hydraulic circuit internal pressure - release

The hydraulic circuit is always under
pressure. In this case, the pressure in
hydraulic circuit is to be released when
checking or replacing the hoses or
fi
t-
tings. Without doing so, the pressur-
ized oil will squirt out and cause seri-
ous personal injury.
●
After the engine is stopped, the com-
ponents and oil are still hot and can
cause serious burn. Wait until the tem-
perature comes down before operating.
●
The oil may squirt out when remov-
ing the oil filler cap. Therefore, slowly
remove the cap in order to release the
internal pressure.
