Set up the doorkeeper (virtual door) mode with the
mode/power supply
button.

Green light will be flickering at the mode lamp.
Set up the restricted distance with the
distance
adjustment
switch.
Install the i-keeper at the outside entrance of the room to be cleaned.

Install it in such a way that the distance detection sensor faces
the location where the virtual door is going to be installed.
As the invisible virtual door is formed by the i-keeper, during the
cleaning, the robotic vacuum cleaner will be blocked from crossing
to another room, and when the cleaning is completed, the virtual
door will be opened so that it can be moved to the other room.

When the i-keeper is not used, set it up as power off. (In the
case of not-using for a long period of time, natural discharge
can be reduced by separately storing of the dry cell.)

If
mode/power supply
button is not responded, it means the
exhaustion of the dry cell’s life, therefore, replace the dry cell.
(Specification: D type (LR20) alkaline dry cell)
●
The i-keeper can additionally be purchased from Samsung
Electronics Service Inc.
●
Even though the i-keeper has been installed, if remaining
amount of battery is not sufficient during the cleaning, the
cleaner will automatically be returned to the charger.
Get to know about the infrared sensor

At the location which is exposed to direct light such
as halogen lamp or open field, transmitting and
receiving of infrared signal may not be smooth.
●
The robotic vacuum cleaner uses 3 kinds of
infrared devices and the device with lower priority
may not have the normal operation when it is
located in front of the device with higher priority.
●
When adjusting the robotic vacuum cleaner with the remote controller, precautions shall be
taken as the cleaner passes the boundary line of the ikeeper or makes collision.
●
When using this sensor at narrow space or within short distance, malfunction can be happened
due to the confusion of infrared signals with each other.
●
If installing the i-keeper near to the charger, the automatic charging will be disturbed, therefore,
install the i-keeper by moving it to another place.
●
If setting up the restricted distance with the amount which is more than required, the cleaning by
the robotic vacuum cleaner may not properly be conducted. Set up the
distance adjustment
switch with an appropriate distance.
●
In the case when using more than 2 robotic vacuum cleaners simultaneously, malfunction can
be happened due to the confusion of infrared signals.
●
In the case when the direction of i-keeper’s distance detection sensor is facing the charger, the
automatic charging may be disturbed, therefore, change the installing direction of the i-keeper
or set up an appropriate distance.

※ Since the virtual curtain has been formed to
prevent the collision of the robotic vacuum
cleaner to the surroundings of the
i-keeper, secure the passage by installing
the distance detection sensor at approx. 30
cm inside of the outside wall.
