Network
Set
up
information
to
connect
a
system
to
the
network.
①
NETWORK
TYPE
[ADSL,
LAN,
DHCP]:
Select
a
network
type
to
connect
the
system.
LAN Settings
IP
ADDRESS:
Enter
the
[IP
address]
for
a
system
(generally
provided
by
your
ISP).
SUBNET
MASK:
Enter
the
address
of
the
sub
net
mask
(generally
provided
by
your
ISP).
GATEWAY:
Enter
the
address
of
the
[gateway]
(generally
provided
by
your
ISP).
DHCP
Settings:
Use
this
option
if
the
DVR
is
assigned
to
a
dynamic
IP
from
a
router.
When
using
DHCP,
the
domain
name
of
the
DVR
registered
to
a
DDNS
server
is
mainly
used
to
connect
to
the
network
instead
of
the
IP.
ADSL:
Select
this
if
you
use
PPPoE.
Press
the
ENTER
button
on
the
menu
to
bring
up
the
following
setup
menu.
ID:
Enter
an
ID
to
connect
to
an
ADSL
network.
PW:
Enter
the
password
of
the
ID
entered
above.

DDNS
ON/OFF:
When
using
a
dynamic
IP
(DHCP),
the
IP
constantly
changes
and
its
address
becomes
undetectable.
In
this
case,
you
can
register
the
domain
name
and
IP
address
of
the
DVR,
so
you
can
access
it
via
the
domain
name
when
the
IP
address
changes.
