PART 3. INSTALLING AND REPLACING BOARDS
This section describes how to install and replace various boards of the OfficeServ 7400 system.
3.1 CABINET CONFIGURATION
The main and expansion cabinets of the OfficeServ 7400 system have 12 slots each. The slots
are numbered 0~11 as shown below.
Slot 0 in EVERY cabinet is reserved ONLY for the LP40 card.
Slot 3 in the main cabinet is reserved ONLY for the MP40 card.
In the main cabinet, slots 1, 2, 4~11 are universal slots. The main cabinet has 10 universal
slots.
In OfficeServ 7400 expansion cabinets, slots 1~11 are universal slots. Each OfficeServ 7400
expansion cabinet has 11 universal slots.
A three-cabinet OfficeServ 7400 system has a maximum of 32 universal slots.
All universal slots in the main cabinet are 64 channel slots.
All universal slots in the OfficeServ 7400 expansion cabinet are 32 channel slots.
All universal slots in the OfficeServ 7200 expansion cabinet are 16 channel slots.
