Additional Equipment Connection

PC and Remote Programming

This feature is applicable to the DX-408i digital key system only.

To program the system via a personal computer (PC) or customer-provided modem (remote
programming), connect a modem or a PC to the SIO serial port of the DX-408i digital key
system using an RS-232C cable. The PC must be equipped with the Samsung proprietary
program, PCMMC.

When the PC or modem needs to be more than 5 metres away from the DX-408i
digital key system, shielded computer cable is required. The cable must not
exceed 15 metres.
