Configuration with SAM Gateway Configurator tool
The expert configuration in the start window must be activated in the settings before the
function can be used. Enter the password 'Kundendienst' to activate these settings.

Modbus requests can then be received over these interfaces and for-
ward over Modbus TCP, for example.
Forwarding to known Modbus TCP servers can be configured in the
'TCP forwarding' tab.
Gateway address Modbus address of the gateway
− It is possible to access internal data on the gateway.
− The gateway address must not be the same as the station ad-
dress of the controller that is assigned to the gateway.
− The setting can be found in the 'Modbus' tab of devices with a
Modbus RTU function.
Modbus TCP port Port number for the Modbus TCP server of the device (standard 502)
A corresponding note appears in the bottom section of the tab when the default setting
is changed. Click the 'Default setting' button to reset the parameter settings back to the
SAMSON-compatible standard (only for devices with Modbus RTU interface).
