5.4.2 Connecting the wiring

Connect the wiring as shown in Fig. 7.

Insert the wire without force.

To remove the wire, use a slotted screw-
driver to press the unlocking slot of the
cage clamp terminal and remove the
wire.
Î
Route the grounding connection (PE) to
the corresponding terminal.
Risk of malfunction due to incorrect power
line frequency setting.
The local power line frequency must be en-
tered to be able to properly filter out any dis -
turbances which are transmitted over ground
wires or external power supply units.
The power line frequency (50/60 Hz) is en -
tered in menu item 1.10 (see page 74).
The procedure to enter or change the param-
eters is described in section 7 on page 52
onwards.
