3 Appropriate measures must be taken to prevent, during periods of non-use and/or when
the equipment is out of service, that potential energy is present in the equipment.
4 The
Inobooth
must be maintained regularly in accordance with the indications and ins-
tructions given by
SAMES KREMLIN
.
Repairs must be carried out in strict accordance with these instructions.
5 It is imperative to ensure that any conductive or semi-conductive parts that are less than
2.5 m away from any projector are properly grounded. Otherwise, it could accumulate
electrical charges capable of causing sparks
6 Unplug, lock out and turn off electrical connections before servicing electrical equip-
ment.
7 In case of a slight electric shock, immediately turn off all electrical or electrostatic equip-
ment. Do not restart the equipment until the problem has been diagnosed and resolved.
8 All conductive structures placed in or near the work area must be electrically connected
to the protective grounding system of the power supply.
9 Since an explosive atmosphere can form under certain conditions of use (solvents or
combustible powders), it is strictly forbidden to use devices producing a flame at a dis-
tance of less than 5 meters from the booth.
10 All grinding or welding work on metal products carried out at a distance of less than 5
meters from the powder station is prohibited if the following safety measures are not obser-
ved:
•The booth must be protected by a cover made of non-flammable (or hardly flam-
mable) material.
•A person equipped with a fire extinguisher must monitor the environment of the booth
during the work.
11 Due to the risk of fire, it is strictly forbidden to use or store flammable products, empty flam-
mable product containers or any other material (rags, paper, etc...) that has been in
contact with these flammable products in or near the booth. It is recommended to use
only cleaning products recommended by
SAMES KREMLIN
. Do not put in contact with
corrosive products or objects likely to deteriorate the cabin surface.
12 It is important to consider the powder coating booth in the fire protection and prevention
system of the users
13 The booth must not support any mass other than that of the equipment originally
intended to be mounted on or around it. The structure of the booth shall be self-suppor-
ting. In no case is the booth intended to support the mass of an operator working on its
roof, the mass of a part of the building or any other load.
14 The floor on which the booth rests must have a resistance higher than 400 kN/m2, be rigo-
rously horizontal and it must be antistatic (generally bare concrete floors are antistatic).
15 Only use in this booth powder projectors certified by
SAMES KREMLIN
.
16 The booth may only be used for the electrostatic application of approved thermoplastic
or thermosetting powder coatings.
