DISASSEMBLY / REASSEMBLY OF THE FLUID SECTION
Guards (air motor cover, coupling shields, housings …) have been designed for
safe use of the equipment.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible for bodily injury or failure and / or
damage to property due to removal or partial removal of the guards.
Disassembly
- Place the fluid section in a vice.
- Unscrew the pump foot (14a / 14b) with two
wrenches.
- Remove the stop ring (12) and the ball (13).
- Remove the cylinder (9) with a wrench.
- Remove the 2 seals (10).
- Remove the piston (16).
- Unscrew the exhaust valve (20) with a wrench and
an hexagon key.
- Remove the carbide seat (19) and the ball (17).
- Remove piston seal (18).
- Remove the outlet from the vice.
- Remove the stop ring (7).
- Remove the GT cartridge (2).
Assembly
Apply a light coating of grease to the seals.
If the piston is damaged, the remplacement of it
involves the systematic remplacement of the cartridge.
- Place the fluid section in a vice.
- Grease (grease, model A1) the GT cartridge (2).
- Install the GT cartridge (2) on the flange (6) with tool
for cartridge assembly (4) and install the stop ring (7).
- Grease the piston seal (18) and install it on the valve
(20).
- Apply glue (glue, model C1) on the seat (19).
- Install the valve assembly (20) on the piston (16) with
a wrench and an hexagon key.
- Apply grease (grease, model A1) on the tool for
packing assembly (5) and the piston and install the
assembly into the flange (6).
- Grease the seals (10) and install them on the
cylinder (9).
- Grease (grease, model A2) the thread of the cylinder
(9) and tighten it on the flange (6).
- Install the ball (13) and the stop ring (12) into the
pump foot (14a / 14b).
- Screw the pump foot (11a / 11b).
