2. The Touch Screen
We’ll leave SAM powered on all the time – you won’t need to shut it off at the end of
a shift or turn it on at the start of a shift. When idle, the screen displays our MSM
logo as a screen saver. It will go into the idle state if the screen isn’t touched for two
minutes or so. To activate the screen just touch it anywhere.
The screen is divided into several sections. Across the top is an Information Bar. In
this yellow area you’ll see the current entry, as well as other information.
