Congratulations! You’ve just sold two fares. Now, touch the
[Close]
button on the
Total/Change screen to get rid of it. You’re ready for the next transaction.
Let’s say the sale totals $12 and the rider gives you a twenty. Touch the
[$20]
button
and the screen will tell you to give the rider eight dollars. You can combine button
amounts. Touch the
[$5]
and the
[$10]
, for example, if fifteen dollars is tendered.
Alternately, you can use the Key Pad to enter dollar amounts. There’s no decimal
point, but you must enter cents. To enter twenty-‐five dollars, you’d touch
[2] [5]
[00]
. If you just entered a 2 and 5, that would be 25¢. The display in the Information
Bar, by the way, doesn’t show you a decimal point, either. So don’t get freaked out
