� Remove the appliance from the
box. Remove all packaging card-
board and fi lm pieces from the
appliance parts.
� Thoroughly clean and dry the
appliance, especially all appliance
parts with direct contact with
food products (see chapter:
CLEANING AND MAINTE-
NANCE).
� The appliance has a safety lock:
the appliance will only turn on if
the blender jug has been in-
stalled properly.
� While mixing, do not insert
hands or any objects in the
blender (this does not apply to
the pusher ⑦ att ached to the
appliance) to avoid bodily injuries
and damage to the appliance.
If you need to remove food
residues, fi rst switch off and
unplug the blender and then use
a rubber or plasti c spatula.
� The appliance is equipped with
a pusher ⑦ that can be used for
the preparati on of dense-texture
foods e.g.: desserts, vegetable
purée etc.. The pusher enables
moving the components to-
wards the blades. The pusher
can move up and down, and can
be rotated or moved to one side
or to the corner of the blender
jug.
� Cauti on: To avoid contact of
the pusher with blender blades,
use the pusher only when cov-
er ⑥ is properly placed.
� The blades are very sharp. To
avoid injury never place blades
before correctly assembling the
jug fi rst.
� Tighten the jug mounti ng base.
� Always use the blender with jug.
� Always start mixing at the lo-
west speed.
� To avoid burns always keep
hands and face away from the
hole in the jug lid.
