If you need to connect the BACK-UP output, go to the next sec-
tion. Otherwise, place the housing in its position and secure it
using the 4 screws included in the package.

5.3.5.3. Steps for connecting the AC BACK-UP
connector.
1.
Remove the housing (item number 4) from its packaging.

2.
According to above, select an appropriate cable and pass it
through the cable gland on the housing labelled BACK-UP. A
hole must be drilled in the rubber gasket to allow the bundle to
pass, as shown in the following sequence:

3.
Remove the insulation sleeve from the AC bundle by about
50 mm, and remove the insulation from the end of the L/N
cables by about 8 mm, as shown in Fig. 57.
Cable diameter: 12-18 mm.
8 mm.
40-60 mm.

4.
Remove the ferrules included in the accessory bag from the
AC BACK-UP connector and crimp them to the stripped ends
of the L/N cables with an approved tool to ensure an optimal
connection.
5.
Remove the AC BACK-UP connector from the accessory bag.
6.
Insert the ends of the three cables into the corresponding
holes on the connector: phase cable into the L port and neutral
into the N port. Make sure the cables reach the back of the
connector and screw them in tightly. Pull slightly on the cable
to check that it is properly connected.
7.
Connect the AC BACK-UP connector to the AC BACK-UP
terminal on the inverter, as shown in below:
