is used to charge it at maximum power. The normal load and
the back-up load are supplied from the grid, or from solar panel
surpluses, if they produce enough power to charge the battery
to the maximum and have surpluses.

: In this state, the energy from the solar panels
and the battery are used to supply the back-up load, always
prioritising the use of the solar panels.

UPS OFF mode indicates that there is a grid and, therefore, the
UPS mode is disabled. In this state, the solar panel power priori-
tises charging the battery, and if this is not enough to charge it at
maximum power, the grid is used for this purpose and to supply the
installation's consumption. On the other hand, if the power from
the solar panels covers the needs for charging the battery at max-
imum power, their surpluses are used to supply the installation's
consumption and, if not, use of the grid is prioritised.

Fig. 24. Work priorities in "UPS ON" mode.
UPS ON mode indicates that there is no grid and therefore the UPS
is enabled. In this state, there is only the consumption of the back-
up load and priority is given to supplying it with the power gener-
ated from the solar panels. If this is not enough, then the battery
power is used, but if the power from the solar panels is sufficient
to cover the back-up consumption, the battery is charged with their
surpluses.
Questions
Answers
1
What is the
maximum charge
and discharge power
of the battery?
The maximum charge power (UPS OFF) is the
inverter's maximum PAC. The maximum discharge
power (UPS ON) depends on the battery itself and it
is higher than the PAC.
2
What is the
maximum Back-up
Load power?
The maximum Back-up Load power is 110% of the
rated power of the inverter
3
What is the
maximum
generation power?
In UPS OFF, the maximum generation power is that
limited by PAC. In UPS ON, the maximum generation
power is higher than PAC.
4
Is there
a prioritisation
between load and
Back-up Load?
In UPS OFF there is no prioritisation, in UPS ON there
is only the back-up load.
5
What happens if
the battery reaches
the minimum SOC
(maximum DOD)?
In UPS OFF mode, operation remains the same,
the battery charges from PV+Grid and the loads are
supplied from the grid (provided there are no PV
surpluses).
In UPS ON mode, the battery remains on standby
if there are no solar panels and the back-up load is
not supplied. If there are solar panels, the battery is
charged to SOC ≥ min. SOC + 5%, then the back-up
load is supplied.

4.5.4. Economy mode.
4.5.4.1. Brief introduction.
In Economy mode there are four different states:
Discharge
,
PV charge
,
PV + Grid charge
and
Standby
. The four modes
can be configured from the app and are linked to the battery's
behaviour. From the app, the user can configure an economic plan
and decide at what time of day the battery should be charged or
discharged.
In the case of the charging option, it is broken down into two other
options:
PV
or
PV + Grid
; the PV option prioritises battery charging
from the solar panels and the installation's consumption is supplied
from the grid and from the solar panel surpluses, if any. The PV+Grid
option prioritises battery charging from the solar panels and from
the grid, and the installation's consumption is supplied from the
grid and from the solar panel surpluses, if any. If the time range
defined in the charging/discharging app does not reach 24 hours,
the default state is standby. In this state, the hybrid behaves like an
inverter without batteries.
