Questions
Answers
1
What is the
maximum charge
and discharge power
of the battery?
The maximum charge and discharge power
of the battery is the inverter's maximum PAC.
2
What is the
maximum Back-up
Load power?
The maximum Back-up Load power is 110%
of the rated power of the inverter.
3
What is the
maximum
generation power?
The maximum generation power is PAC.
4
Is there
a prioritisation
between load and
Back-up Load?
No, the two loads are joined as if they were just
one, even though the Back-up Load has a limit,
as mentioned in FAQ2.
5
What happens if
the battery reaches
the minimum SOC
(maximum DOD)?
The overall load power prioritisation is changed.
The battery remains on standby waiting for the
solar panel power in order to charge, while the
consumption loads are supplied from the grid.
When solar panel power is available, it is used
to charge the battery. This state is maintained
until SOC ≥ min. SOC + 5%. Once this state is
exited, the overall load power prioritisation is
restored.
6
What happens if
the grid is lost?
The hybrid supplies the back-up load from solar
panels and if there are surpluses, it charges
the battery, if not, it discharges it to supply the
back-up load. In addition, the generation power
is higher, it is no longer the PAC of FAQ3.
7
Why does the hybrid
keep waiting for
the grid instead of
generating?
The hybrid only waits for the grid without
generating the first time it is installed.
Once installed and turned on for the first time,
it can generate power without needing to be
connected to the grid as the battery keeps it
always on. This is not necessary in Off-Grid
mode, as there is never a grid in this mode.
8
Why isn't the hybrid
version optimal and
why does it import
from the grid when
it has battery power
available?
One of the following solutions may resolve this
issue:
-Depending on the type of battery, it must be
fully charged first.
-The PeakLoad Shifting option is enabled and
therefore the battery does not discharge until it
reaches a power consumption higher than Pmax
(this parameter can be configured from the app).
Disable this option and try.
-The battery type is configured incorrectly. It can
be configured from the inverter display or from
the app.
-DOD is too low. A DOD between 80% and 90%
is recommended. This parameter is configured
from the app.
Tab. 7. General mode FAQs.
4.5.2. OFF-Grid mode.
4.5.2.1. Brief introduction.
In Off-Grid mode, the grid is never available, so only the back-up
load can be supplied. The first priority is to make use of the solar
panel power, and if it covers the back-up consumption, the sur-
pluses are used to charge the battery. In the event that the solar
panel power is not sufficient, the shortfalls are covered with the
battery.
The battery system must be connected to the inverter for
this work mode to function.

The installation's consumption is supplied first of all by the power
generated by the solar panels; if the consumption is higher, the bat-
tery power is used, and if it is lower, the battery is charged with the
surpluses from the solar panels.
Questions
Answers
1
What is the
maximum charge
and discharge
power?
The maximum charge and discharge power of the
battery depends on the battery itself and it is not
limited to the inverter's PAC in this mode.
2
What is the
maximum Back-up
Load power?
The maximum Back-up Load power is 110% of the
rated power of the inverter
3
What is the
maximum
generation power?
The maximum generation power is higher than PAC
and depends on the overload that the inverter can
withstand. (It is the same as the maximum Back-up
Load power)
4
What happens if
the battery reaches
the minimum SOC
(maximum DOD)?
The battery remains on standby if there are no solar
panels, and the back-up load is not supplied. If there
are solar panels, the battery is charged to SOC ≥ min.
SOC + 5%, then the back-up load is supplied.
Tab. 8. OFF-Grid mode FAQs.
4.5.3. UPS mode.
4.5.3.1. Brief introduction.
UPS mode seeks to charge the battery in the shortest possible time
in order to be prepared in the event of a possible power outage and
thus be able to supply as much energy as possible.
UPS mode kicks in when the grid is lost, so there are two possible
states:
1.
UPS OFF mode
: In this state, there is a grid and the aim is to
charge the battery at maximum power, so all of the solar panel
power is used for the battery and, if it is not enough, the grid
