CLEANING THE GUN
NOTE: If you have a cleaning procedure manual supplied with the
spraying unit, this procedure must be used.
Always clean the pump, gun and accessories before the sprayed
fluid hardens inside these.
WARNING
Before disassembling or cleaning any gun component, make sure
that it is not pressurised.
Empty the unit.
Follow the decompression procedure on page 8.
Remove the cap guard and the spray tip (figure 4). Leave these
in a container filled with solvent.
Place a correctly-grounded vessel filled with paint solvent in
the suction system of the pump.
Start up the pump at the lowest pressure possible.
Secure the gun firmly to the side of the correctly-grounded
metal vessel of solvent. Rest the trigger guard against the
side of the vessel.
Remove the gun safety and pull the trigger pointing the gun
at the side of the vessel. Allow the product to circulate until
cleaning is complete.
Note: Replace the cleaning solvent as many times as necessary.
