6.12.2 Sync Word Length > 32 bits
Following are some examples of frame synchronizer configurations with Synchronization word length
greater than 32 bits. In the following examples, we are not considering the different threshold for
synchronization.
Example
1: Sync Word length = 64 bits and Words of 8 bits
Frame description:
Sync =

Data length = 256 words of 8 bits
Total length = 8 + 256 = 264 Words
Frame Sync Configuration:
All the fields are used as 64 bits is the
maximum size definition.
