5.7 Start-Up and Shutdown.
5.7.1 Start-Up with automatic Upgrade.
When installing version E2R7 and higher, one of the RTR board FPGA needs to be upgraded.
This is done automatically at the first startup after installation.
After Windows starts up (push on the ON/OFF button), the following steps are automatically executed:
1.
A windows session is started (Auto-
log as
“cortex” user)
2.
A command window is launched
3.
The SPS (Signal Processing
Software) is started after 2 seconds.
Its icon appears in the right hand
side of the task bar. It is yellow
during initialization, then it turns
white
4.
The SPS application drives all
boards and waits for TCP/IP
commands from MCS.
The
configuration is the last one used
before the previous shutdown.
Default file :
D:\ZDS\Data\cortex\cortex-nt.ctx
5.
The local MCS (Monitoring and
Control Software) is started a few
seconds later with a specific page.
6.
Progression bars indicate the
upgrade progression.
