1.
Cnversion for use with external tank
:
First, unscrew the tank cap.
2.
Take the suction hose out of the tank and remove the brass-
colored coarse filter from the hose by twisting off the cap nut and
pushing it back on the hose
and
withdraw the filter.
(Keep filter well for converting „back“).
3.
Now push hose opening
tightly
onto the neck of the blue check
valve. Done!
It is important to ensure that when screwing on the tank cap pre-
pared in this way, it should be rotated first 2 revolutions in the
opposite direction of screwing (counterclockwise) so that during
the subsequent screwing on of the tank cap the internal tube is
not strongly twisted and is thus »squeezed«).
4.
Of course, the suction hose attached to the device must be con-
nected as usual on the outside to the hose connection of the tank
cap, as shown in the adjacent figure no. 3.
Since this hose has a different diameter, it is now equipped with
its own coarse filter at the end.
P
lease note:
It is important to ensure that the suction hose will not be kinked but
laid as horizontal as possible.
Set external tank if possible at the
same height
as the device itself.
If the external tank is placed
elevated,
i. e. higher than the fog gen-
erator, the entire contents of the tank can possibly, by a physical
principle, be emptied through the device under certain circumstances
even when the power is off.
If the external tank is placed
lower,
there should not be a difference
in altitude of more than 1.80 m. External canisters / containers stand-
ing significantly lower than 1.80 m require a suction power that the
pressure pumps of the devices can no longer provide.
In the new tank cap an extremely resistant, but very resilient seal of
a special polyurethane elastomer is installed which ensures the
liquidtight sealing of the tank, if you close the lid tightly by hand.
There-fore turn tank cap well by hand and check that the tank cap
closes tightly by briefly turning the unit sideways.
The new seal also ensures in older plastic tanks that no liquid can
leak, but it should again be proved whether the tank opening above
(top rim) is undamaged. (Coarse nicks and broken off pieces cannot
be compensated by the seal.)
