3.2
Breaking with the E-Bike
TIP: When you apply the brakes, the motor is automatically switched off, which is a standard safety setting.
TIP: There is a sensor in the brake lever. When you apply the brake, the motor is automatically switched off. So
do not press on the brake handle when you want the motor to work. Try the brakes at low speed. The brake hand-
le of the left hand corresponds to the brake of the rear wheel. The brake handle of the right hand corresponds to
the front wheel brake. Never brake hard. Squeeze both brakes together.
WARNING: If you suddenly and harshly engage the front brakes, you will roll over. Please do not set your brakes
too hard to prevent wheel lock and accidents. Check the sensitivity and braking force of the brakes before each
ride.
