Warranty on battery:
1.We provide a 12-month guarantee on the proper functioning of the battery. The warranty starts from the date
of purchase. The warranty service is limited to the repair or replacement of the bat-tery and is carried out at
the discretion of LEICKE. The warranty service is always free of charge for you. The warranty does not apply if
defects other than material and workmanship defects are found.
Changes due to wear and tear, such as capacity reductions, are expressly excluded from the war-ranty.
2. The claim to warranty must be proven by presentation of the purchaser‘s purchase receipt.
3. The investigation of the fault and its causes shall always be carried out by LEICKE. The compo-nents replaced
within the scope of the warranty or guarantee shall become our property.
4. In the event of a justified warranty or guarantee claim, the costs of shipping and the costs of re-moval and
installation shall be borne by LEICKE.
5. If the e-bike has been modified by third parties or through the installation of third-party parts, or if any de-
fects that have occurred are originally related to the modification, the warranty claim shall expire. Furthermore,
it expires if the instructions given in the user manual regarding the handling and use of the bike have not been
followed. This applies in particular to the intended use as well as the care and maintenance instructions.
6. Not included in the warranty are:
a) Components subject to wear, consumption or deterioration (except for clear material or manu-facturing de-
fects), such as:
- tyres - lamps - saddle
- brake components
- Stand - Battery
- chain - sprockets - grips
-Fuse - Gearshift sprocket - Stickers/Decals
- Cables - Bowden cables - etc.
b) Damage that is attributable to:
- the non-use of original spare parts.
- manipulation of the engine control software (incl. throttling, tuning, etc.).
- the improper installation of components of the buyer or a third party.
- Damage caused by stone chips, hail, road salt, industrial exhaust fumes, lack of care, unsuita-ble care pro-
ducts, etc.
c) consumables not related to repair work on recognised faults.
d) all maintenance or other work resulting from wear and tear, accident or operating conditions as well as driving
in non-compliance with the manufacturer‘s instructions.
e) all occurrences, such as noise, vibrations, colour changes, wear and tear, etc., which do not affect the basic
and driving characteristics.
f) Costs for maintenance, inspection and cleaning work.
7. The claim to warranty entitles the customer to demand only the rectification of the defect. Claims for return or
reduction of the purchase price shall only apply after rectification has failed. Compensation for indirect or direct
damage shall not be granted.
8. The warranty period is neither renewed nor extended by an executed warranty . The assertion of claims after
