Operating the UNISAB S-Control
Start-up
·
UNISAB S-Control should be connected
as shown in the wiring diagram.
·
Check to ensure that the UNISAB
S-Control is correctly coded for the vol-
tage available.
The coded voltage is stated on the side of
the code plug, as shown in the example be-
low:

The code plug is placed beside the trans-
former as illustrated.

The UNISAB S-Control will be ready to
operate approx. 5 seconds after power is
supplied.
Furthermore, please note the following:

When the UNISAB S-Control is sup-
plied, alarm limits will have been coded
in by SABROE, as stated in the table in
the section entitled
Factory setting of
alarm limits
. Therefore, the UNISAB
S-Control is ready for operation.
·
When power has been connected, the
UNISAB S-Control will be set to
manu-
al operation
. If the display shows
when you switch the UNISAB S-Control
on, the values shown in the chapter en-
titled
Configuration
must be entered.
·
You can change to
automatic operation
by following the instructions given in
this manual -- please refer to the section
entitled
Automatic operation
.
·
If you wish to inter-connect several
compressors (each fitted with UNISAB
S-Control or PROSAB II) please refer to
the chapter
MULTISAB -- sequential re-
gulation of screw compressors.
·
If the power is connected while UNISAB
S-Control is set to
automatic operation
,
the display will flash for 60 seconds.
During this period communication to the
control units on the other compressors
will be established. The capacity regula-
tion will be disabled. This applies even
if only one UNISAB S-Control is instal-
led.
