Service and calibration
Normally, it is not necessary to service the
UNISAB S-Control, except for the cases
where the pressure transducers or the UNI-
SAB S-Control computer (the cover) have
to be replaced.
Calibrating pressure transducers
The pressure transducers should be calibra-
ted in the following way:
·
Equalize the pressure in the compressor
to atmospheric pressure, as described in
the instruction manual for the compress-
or. This means that all the pressure trans-
ducers will have the same reference pres-
sure.
·
Bring the UNISAB S-Control into con-
figuration mode.
·
Wait 10 - 15 seconds to allow all the
measured values to settle.
§
The LED beside Suction Pressure in the
column will light up and the measured
pressure (= the atmospheric pressure)
will appear in the display.
·
Press the
key to move to the Suction
Pressure
.
·
The display will now show the current
calibration value of the transducer. If the
measured value equals the calibration
value, the pressure transducer for suction
pressure is correctly calibrated.
·
Go on to the next value and repeat the
process from
§
.
If the two values are not identical:
·
Press the
SET
key to calibrate the
transducer.
·
Continue to the next value and repeat the
process.
Once this process is completed, revert to
operation mode. See the chapter entitled
Configuration
.
