5. Insert a wood chock between the blade
and cutting deck to prevent the blade
from turning. Loosen the blade nut.
6. Remove the nut, spring washer, and
blade.
7. Remove any build-up of debris from the
cutting deck, especially around the blade
mounting bolt
. Install the new blade,
spring washer, and nut. Ensure that the
blade is properly seated.
8. Insert a wood chock between the blade
and cutting deck to prevent the blade
from turning. Tighten the nut to 67.5–73.5
Nm of torque.
Hand-tighten the nut until
the blade is secured and does not shake,
then use a spanner to further tighten the
nut by 1.5 turns at least (67.5–73.5 Nm
torque).
Slide the cutting deck under the mower.
9. Secure the cutting deck to the mower
using a hitch pin and washer on each
side. Connect the cutting deck cables
and tighten the cable locks.
