MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the
accessory from the garage door operator when cleaning
or performing any maintenance.
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause
product damage.
NOTICE:
Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts,
caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and
do not operate this product until all missing or damaged
parts are replaced. Please contact customer service or
a qualified service center for assistance.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which could result in serious personal
injury.
STORING THE INFLATOR ACCESSORY
See Figure 13, page 13.
Deactivate accessory port #1 (right side installation) or
accessory port #5 (left side installation).
Remove adaptors from the air chuck and store indoors.
Attach the trigger handle hose to the storage clip.
Move the positioning ball to the point closest to the
inflation trigger handle on the high pressure hose.
Pull the high pressure hose down and allow it to retract.
Secure the trigger handle to the hanger bracket.
WARNING:
Garage ceilings and car heights vary. Ensure that there
is adequate clearance between the top of your vehicle
and the bottom of the trigger handle when the inflator is
in the storage position. Failure to do so could result in
serious personal injury or property damage.
