WATER CONNECTION
Make sure the heater tank is FULLY FILLED with water before swithching on the
electrical supply.
1. The diameter of inlet(BLUE) and outlet(RED) pipes is G1/2”. Before connecting
external fittings to the heater, please ensure that they are resistant to the working
pressure and able to withstand the maximum temperature setting of the heater.
2. Isolation Barrier
Electric storage water heater with islation barrier can protect people from bathing
in an unsafe electricity environment effectively. It is to form a permanent
resistance inside the electric storage water heater, thereby reducing the electric
current through the human body under abnormal conditions, eg: get electric shocks.
3. Pressure Relief Valve
The pressure relief valve prevents excessive pressure built-up in the heater tank,
and must not be removed or replaced. In the event the pressure in the tank
exceeds 0.8MPa, the drain valve will operate and vent the water through the
overlow tube which must not be closed or blocked. Closed or blocked the drain
nozzle of the pressure relief valve may cause serious damage to the heater tank
and void the warranty.
4. During the heating process, slight dripping of water from the pressure relief valve
is normal. For this very reason, we recommend you to connected an overflow tube
to the drain nozzle of the pressure relief valve, leaving the other end of the tube
always open, and sloping it downwards pointing towards the floor trap.
