HOW TO SETUP COMMUNICATIONS

The

Communications Setup

dialog box is for setting up communications between

the

TheaterTouch

and your PC.

To open the

Communications Setup

dialog box:

Choose

Set COM Port

from the

Options

menu.

Com Port group box -

Choose the COM Port that the

TheaterTouch

is connected

to.

Auto Detect -

Click this button to have

TheaterTouch Designer

attempt to

automatically locate the correct COM port. The

TheaterTouch

must be connected to

the computer with the programming cable and in

Computer Link

mode, if you

need help with

Computer Link

mode see the Control Panel section on page 8.

Maximum Comm Speed -

Choose a lower speed from this list if you are having

problems communicating with the

TheaterTouch

system controller. The default is

High.
