Digital Inclinometer app crashes at application launch
•
The Digital Inclinometer app data is corrupted. If the app’s exported file is available,
it is advisable to retrieve the data for recovery and re-import. The Android app
storage memory may have to be cleared. Clearing the storage memory permanently
deletes all the site and borehole information from the app. Refer to Appendix B-5 for
instructions on how to delete the application data.
•
The Digital Inclinometer app is corrupted and must be deleted and re-installed.
Removing the app also permanently deletes all the site and borehole information
from the app. Thus, if the app’s exported file is archived, it is advisable to retrieve
the data from the USB file transfer option to be re-imported. Refer to Appendix B-4
for instructions on how to remove the app. After the app is removed, the latest app
must be downloaded from the play store. To install the app, refer to Appendix B-1 or
Appendix B-2.
Digital Inclinometer app cannot be installed
•
The Digital Inclinometer app may have a conflict with the previously installed app. In
this scenario, the old app must be removed in order to accept the new app. The
recommended procedure is to first export the site and borehole data to a backup
device or to email the zip file to the device. After the site and borehole data is
backed up and is available for import, the user may remove the app and its data.
Refer to Appendix B-4 for instructions on how to remove the app. After the app is
removed, the latest app must be downloaded from the play store. To install the app,
refer to Appendix B-1 or Appendix B-2. After the new app is installed, import the site
and borehole data files to the app.
