The Digital Inclinometer app may be un-installed if a problem occurs with the app due to
corruption, or compatibility reason. After the app is uninstalled, all the data files associated
with the app are also permanently removed.
To un-install the Digital Inclinometer App, the following works for most Android devices:
•
Enter the Android settings app.
•
At the top of the settings app, enter the search word “APP” in the Search Settings.
•
A list of APP option is displayed. Select App permissions or App & notifications.
•
Select the Digital Inclinometer app. Scroll up or down the list if necessary.
•
Select the UNINSTALL option to permanently delete the app and its data from the
Android device

The Digital Inclinometer app stores its stored data in both cache and storage memory. On
rare occasions, it may be necessary to delete the application data to recover from
application run-time errors.
The deletion of the storage memory deletes all the data and configurations for the Digital
Inclinometer app. It is recommended to export the Digital Inclinometer data files to a
computer or email to a recipient.
To delete the Digital Inclinometer App data, the following works for most Android devices:
•
Enter the Android settings app.
•
At the top of the settings app, enter the search word “APP” in the Search Settings.
•
A list of APP option is displayed. Select App permissions or App & notifications.
•
Select the Digital Inclinometer app. Scroll up or down the list if necessary.
•
Select the Storage option.
•
Select the Clear Storage to permanently delete both the User data and Cache.

Android offers numerous display options that will enhance the user experience. The settings
that should be customized for each device by individual users are the following:
•
Sleep
– Specifies the duration of inactivity before the device automatically enters the
sleep state. When using the Digital Inclinometer app, the recommended duration is 10
minutes or longer.
•
Device Orientation or Auto-rotate screen
– The Digital Inclinometer only operates in
Portrait mode. The recommended setting is to configure the device to only operate in
Portrait mode or to display Auto-rotate screen option.
•
Font Size
– This setting should be set to maximize the font size while minimizing word
wrap. The user should set this parameter according to personal preference and device
screen size
•
Display Size
– This setting defines the size of the display objects within the Digital
Inclinometer app. The user should set this parameter according to personal preference
and device screen size.

The Digital Inclinometer utilizes the sound options in Android to generate sounds when
running the app. The applicable settings are the following:
•
Touch Sound
– Enable or Disable the click sound when the user touches items on the
screen.
