Universal Handset Plus Programming Process
The Universal Handset Plus is supplied fully programmed by RSG to the customers specification, however it is possible to re-programme
the handset functions by using the following programming guide.
Please note that changing a button function may result in the button legends having to be changed. These are available to purchase
from RSG, please contact out sales team for further information.

Press any button to change its
colour
. There are 8 available colours, simply cycle
through until you find the required colour. When you are finished press and hold
the flashing button to move to page

COMBO 1
Press any illuminated button to add it to
Combo Group 1
. Red = Selected,
White = Unselected. When you are finished press and hold the flashing button
to move to page

Press any illuminated button to add it to
Combo Group 2
. Blue = Selected,
White = Unselected. When you are finished press and hold the flashing button

LATCHING
Press and hold any illuminated button to switch between
Latching
and
Momentary
mode. Orange = Latching, White = Momentary. When you are
finished press and hold the flashing button to move to page

Activated. Result: all buttons will beep when pressed.
Warning Beep

= Activated. Result: the handset will beep every 5 seconds if any button is pressed.
Dim/Bright/Brightest

When you are finished press and hold the flashing button. This will take you to

WALK TEST
Press any button to add it to the
Walk Test
. Green = Activated. If no buttons
are selected the walk test is disabled and the buttons become available for use
as standard buttons. When you are finished press and hold the bitton that is
flashing, this will take you back to

the process is then complete.
Once the programming is complete, cycle the power to the device to
return to normal opearting mode.
