4.3 - Assembly - Sails

Hoist the mainsail.

Locate the downhaul and downhaul 

blocks in the pack. 

Tie 

knot #3 

in one end of the rope and 

thread the other end through the bottom 

downhaul block as shown.

Pass the tail through 

the top downhaul block 

as shown.

Pass the end back through the bottom 

downhaul block as shown.

Pass the tail back 

through the top block 

as shown.

Pass the tail back through the bottom 

block as shown.
