PROGRAM ONE: Turn the control lock key to
position using (MA) key
In setting up program one you have four (4) steps to do You must program all four steps
order before you can go on to program two
ONE:
Tax Options — There are three (3) tax options available that can be programmed to automatically
calculate two different tax percentages (Tax 1 and Tax 2) either at a fixed percentage tax rate or at a
state table tax rate You must choose one of these options NOTE The actual tax rates
be
programmed Program Two
The three (3) tax options are
tax (Use
option you do not need to tax any items
your store)
percentage tax (Use
option Tax 1 and Tax 2 are to be fixed tax rates)
table and fixed percentage tax (Use
option you want Tax 1 to be a state table tax rate and Tax 2 to be a
tax rate)
NOTE By entering the state tax table your tax
come out more accurately
Select the appropriate tax option
the numbers on the keyboard The numbers
appear on the right
of the display
