Exit
The Exit menu offers a choice of ways to exit the OSD menu system.
From the Exit menu, select to Exit the OSD menu, Save & Exit to save current settings before exiting the OSD
menu or revert to factory default with Factory Set.
Lens/Autoiris Adjustment
The lens can be manually adjusted for focus and zoom. On the lens, focus [Near
∞
(Far)] is the front ring
and the zoom (Telephoto
Wide) is the back ring. A video focus adjustment connector is provided for use with
a portable/local monitor for making adjustment on the camera joystick control. To make the lens adjustments,
loosen the Zoom and Focus lever screws and turn the ring. When adjustment is complete, retighten the
screws.
Note: When adjusting the focus, it is recommended that the iris be completely open (a dark condition, either
at night or using a filter) so that the depth of field does not influence the adjustment.
On autoiris lenses, iris adjustment may be required if the picture appears dark or grainy or has poor color; the
OSD menu selections to improve the picture quality.
Camera Positioning
The camera position can be adjusted in three axes, vertically (tilt), vertical height of the camera/lens assembly
and rotation about the lens axis (roll). Swivel the assembly for tilt position. The vertical height of the
camera/lens assembly can be adjusted by loosening the lock nut, changing the vertical position of the camera
mounting bracket within the slot in the mounting bracket and retightening the nut. The picture may be
“squared up” by rotating the camera about its own axis up to 360° (roll adjustment).
Note: After all adjustments are made, be sure to tighten all bracket screws.
