DC voltage measurements:
- Turn the selector dial to position
V . Push the MODE button to select DC. Pick up the
probes by the insulated handles and place the contacts onto the circuit. If the polarity
is reversed the polarity indicator appears on the display. Reverse the probes and the '-'
disappears.
AC current measurements:
The multimeter must be arranged in series with the circuit as the current is measured
within the circuit.
- For currents from 0 µA to 2000 µA turn the selector dial to the µA position
For currents from 0 mA to 200 mA turn the selector dial to the mA position
- Push the MODE button to select AC.
- Pick up the probes by the insulated handles and place the contacts in series with the
circuit. In contrast with voltage measurements the measurement is performed in-circuit
(in series) as the current must flow through the multimeter.
DC current measurements:
The multimeter must be arranged in series with the circuit as the current is measured
within the circuit.
- For currents from 0 µA to 2000 µA turn the selector dial to the µA position

Resistance measurements:
The tested circuit or component must not be live.
- Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors.
- Turn the selector dial to position OHM and subsequently push the MODE button to
select the resistance measurement mode.
- Place the contacts of the prongs onto the tested circuit / element. For accurate
resistance measurements it is recommended to disconnect the tested element from the
circuit.
- The measured resistance appears on the display.
Note:
For overload protection in µA and mA ranges the device is equipped with a
0.2 A / 500 V fast-acting, self resetting fuse
