10. Dimming Control
10.1. General Description

the tool „Dimming Control“ has the purpose to controll the backlight of TFT displays.

The backlight can be switched on/off

the brightness of the backlight is controlled with ambient light sensor and an temperature
sensor of the cabinet of the monitor.

The temperatur managment is able to control two fan groups according to the cabinet
temperature inside.

Aall parameters are programmable with an .ini file.


10.2. Target value backlight brigthness
The brightness of the backlight is determined on the following factors :

Target backlight [%] = minimum value of temperature and ambient light

The target value for brightness is the cross value of tempearature and ambient light table
