User = End user supplies the hdd
information. Auto = Autotyping, the drive
itself supplies the information. CD-RO =
CD-ROM drive.

Transfer Disabled Standard 2 sectors 4
sectors 8 sectors 16 sectors Any selection except Disabled determines
the number of sectors transferred per
block. Standard is 1 sector per block.
LBA Mode Control Disabled Enabled Enabling LBA causes Logical Block
Addressing to be used in place of CHS.
32-Bit I/O Disabled Enabled Enables 32-bit communication between
CPU and IDE card. Requires PCI or Local
Bus.
