Preset 1: Display software version.
While
holding

Hex
+
Option,
the software
revision number will be displayed on the
Preset and Channel Selector LEDs. The
major revision number will be displayed
on the Preset LEDs and the minor revision
number on the Channel Selector LEDs. So,
for example, if current software is v1.3, the
Preset 1 LED and the Channel Selector 3 LED
would be lit.
Preset 2: Set Default Parameter Values.
Press and hold the
Preset 2

least 2/3 of a second to set all of the current

Preset 4: Back up all Presets to a WAV file.
This function allows you to back up all of
your stored Presets to a WAV file, which can
later be restored using Function 5 below.
Here’s how:
1.
Patch Mob of Emus’
Mix Output
to the
input of your WAV recorder. We’ve found
that a regular Eurorack patch cord works
fine.
IMPORTANT:
Your recording device
must record uncompressed WAV data.
Do not use an MP3 recorder.
2.
Press and hold
Tap
+
Hex
+
Option
and
then the Preset 4 button. The
Preset 4
and
Hex
LEDs will flash. (If you need to change
your mind at this point, press the
Hex
button to return to normal operation.)
3.
Press the
Preset 4
button again to
proceed. The
Preset 4
LED will flash
rapidly and a tone will appear at the
Mix
Output
that you can use to adjust the
recording level on your WAV recorder.
4.
Start recording on your WAV recorder.
5.
Press the
Preset 4
button to transmit the
data. While transmitting, the
Channel
Selector
LEDs will act as a progress
indicator. The six LEDs will light in
sequence as the data is loaded. (The
transfer may take a minute or so, so be
patient for the LEDs to light.)
6.
When the transfer is complete, the six
Channel Selector
LEDs will be lit and the
Preset 4
and
Hex
LEDs will flash. Stop
your WAV recorder and press either the
Hex
or the
Preset 4
button to return to
normal operation.
