Button Function
SUBTL:
Sets broadcast dependant subtitles for the current TV programme.
RECALL:
Press to switch to previously watched channel.
FAV:
Select favourite channel list or current channel list in the view mode.
TIMESHIFT:
Pauses live TV so that you enter ‘TImeshift’ mode.
PAGE UP/DOWN:
Press to jump one page up or down.
V-FORMAT:
Press to select the video output mode between; 1080I, 720 P and 576P.
When changing video format, there will be a flicker for a few seconds as the format
adjusts.
EXIT:
Press to exit and save from current menu.
TXT:
(NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS MODEL).
TV/RADIO:
Switches between TV and Radio channels. (Blue button to delete Satellites).
PAUSE:
Freeze the screen. (Yellow button to edit Satellite).
STOP:
Press to STOP playback when watching a recording, playing back a media file or
to stop a recording.
PLAY/PAUSE:
Press to start watching or pausing a recording or media file or to playback
after pausing live TV in ‘Time-Shift’ mode.
RECORD:
Press to start recording.
SLOW:
Press to slow down video recordings.
HDD:
Press to enter and select the hard disc partition when you wish your
recordings to be saved
PVR:
To enter the currently selected PVR memory file to playback your recordings.
Please observe the following when using your Remote Control –
•
Change the batteries when operation becomes poor or erratic.
•
Always use two new batteries, DO NOT mix old and new.
•
Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally responsible way.
•
DO NOT place spent batteries in a fire or attempt to recharge them.
•
If you are not going to use the Remote Control for an extended period then remove the
batteries to avoid the risk of leakage.
Satellite Recorders are delicate pieces of digital equipment that performs quite
complex functions. Occassionally they can lock up for no apparent reason. If this
happens to your recorder, simply unplug the recorder. Then plug recorder back on and
re-boot. If problem persists please contact Ross helpline.
