Fault Possible cause Action
Motor inoperative
No supply voltage
Check that the power supply is correctly con-
nected to the EC Controller (terminals "L" and
"N" for 230 V models and terminals "L1", "L2"
and "L3" for 3 x 400 V and 3 x 230 V models).
Poor electrical connec-
tions Check pin connectors and all other electrical
connections.
No enable signal Check connection between 8 and 10
No 0-10 V DC control
signal
Check that the 0-10 V DC control signal is con-
nected correctly
No 0-10 V DC control
signal
Alarm relay is mishandled.
With potentiometer control:
Check that the potentiometer's 0-10 V DC con-
trol signal is connected
correctly The potentiometer must have an inter-
nal re
sistance of at least 4 kΩ.
Check function of the alarm relay.
The motor has been
stopped by the built-in
motor protector 5 times
cause of overload or other
alarm.
The alarm can be reseted by disconnecting the
power supply to the OJ-EC and reconnecting it
after approx. 60 seconds.
Locked impeller
Check impeller for foreign object or dirt damage.

