Operation
► Open fuel tank cap.
The fuel tank cap has a safety fuel cap. Any excess pressure may
escape after one eighth turn.
► Fill the tank, but do not overfill!
► Set down the canister and close, then close the tank with the fuel tank
cap.
After refuelling
► Store fuel canisters at a safe distance from the power generator.
Refuelling with external refuelling set
Installation of the external refuelling set may only be carried out with
the engine switched off.
► Prepare fuel canister.
► Open canister and correctly insert the connecting line. Lock the
refuelling set fastener onto the canister.
► Make sure that no environmental disturbances are to be expected.
► Remove the cap from the external fuelling connection on the power
generator and the refuelling set.
► Pull back the sleeve of the quick disconnect coupling and engage the
counterpart in the refuelling connection.
Ensure a secure connection.
► On the control unit activate the
External refuelling
function switch.
Continuous duty with canister change:
► Lock the empty canister together with the refuelling set on the power
generator at the quick-release coupling.
► To do this pull back the sleeve of the quick-release coupling and
pull off hose.
► Change the canister outside the danger area.
► Reconnect the connection of the full canister to the quick disconnect
coupling on the power generator.
► Activate the
External refuelling
function switch on the control unit.
