When synchronizing, Unit 1 sends every change in settings to the RX input of Unit 2 as a DCP message
through the Serial Y-cable between them. Unit 2 then adopts the settings, and then in turn sends a DCP
message from its TX output to the RX input of Unit 3 through the Y-cable that links them.
The synchronization chain can be of any length. However, the first and last units in the chain must not be
connected, thereby creating a loop.
