SYSTEM Menu
This section covers the
SYSTEM
menu of the OSD. The individual menu options are described below.
SYSTEM / HDCP Menu Item
Use the arrow keys to navigate in the
SYSTEM
menu to the
HDCP
option and press the
Enter
key /
SELECT
button to open the HDCP window.

The
SYSTEM / HDCP
window displays the status of HDCP input and output encoding. HDCP (High-bandwidth
Digital Content Protection) is an encoding system used to prevent copying of digital audio and video content.
In the upper part of the window, the HDCP status of the four input signals is displayed. When a checkbox is
marked, the video source is transmitting a signal with HDCP encoding.
QuadraVista QF displays this signal only when HDCP encoding is supported by the output device.
The lower portion of the window displays the HDCP status of the output. The first line shows whether the
connected monitor supports HDCP.
When checked, the next line indicates whether the QuadraVista output signal is HDCP protected. If the output
signal is HDCP encoded, the QuadraVista will not output a VGA/analog signal, or a separate audio signal.
