Changing the Print Area
In the factory defaults, the base position (home position) of the print area is at the right front of the flat table
and the print area is the full area (508 × 330 mm [20 × 13 in .]) .
The base position of the print area should be changed according to the shape of the media .
You can reduce the print time if you narrow (limit) the print area .
Determining the Base Position of the Print Area (Home Position)
Determine the home position used as the base to set the print area .

Press [ ] or [ ] to select the base position .

Set the base position (home position) at the front right of the print area .
This method is appropriate when the print site is level and you can clearly specify the print area .

CENTER
Set the base position at the center of the media .
This method is appropriate when clear specification of the print area is difficult or when the print site is
curved or uneven .

Press [ENTER] .
MEMO
You can set the machine so that you will set the print area every time you set up the media . For details, refer
to "Setting the Print Area for Each Setup of Media" (P . 11) .

Press [MENU], then [ ] to go back to the original screen .
